The tree of life, found in Celtic mythology represents strength, the cycles of life, and the balance and harmony of all worlds. The branches reach upwards, towards Heaven, the body of the tree remains on earth, while the roots extend downward, linking Heaven, earth, and the underworld. It is also known as Yggdrasil in Norse mythology. Around it exists all else, including the Nine Worlds.
